WHY CONSIDER THIS SERVICE OVER THE OTHERS?
There seems no shortage of services advertising on the Internet for the purpose
of helping you obtain a no fault divorce. But for a very few exceptions, all
of these services have one thing in common. They cannot represent
you as your attorney. Many of the people running these services are not
attorneys to begin with, and if they are, they are not licensed to practice law
in Pennsylvania. Consequently, they cannot, by law, render you legal
advice. If they do dispense legal advice to you, they are doing so
illegally. Also, they cannot file documents for you. You must file
the documents in the courthouse. You must pay the filing and transmit
fees. You are responsible for complying with the vagaries of the
laws in Pennsylvania regarding the specifics of the divorce forms and time
limits. They cannot correspond with your spouse, on your behalf, and they
cannot represent themselves as your attorney. They want you to do
the legwork, and they want you to act as your own attorney. All they do
pretty much is print out a bunch of forms and send them to you with some
instructions. The instructions themselves can be seen as the rendering of
legal advice, so in order to protect themselves, such instructions may be vague,
incomplete or merely provide references of where to research the laws and code
of divorce in Pennsylvania. If such instructions are too complete and
specific, that can be seen as the practice of law, and since either they aren't
signing on as your attorney, and/or they aren't licensed to practice law in
Pennsylvania, they would be in effect committing the unlawful act of the
unlicensed practice of law.
Many people understandably do not want to be their own lawyer. They do not
want the responsibility of dealing with the courthouse, nor do they want the
responsibility of having to deal directly with their spouse. The law of
divorce in Pennsylvania is not rocket science but neither is it simple. By
retaining an attorney to represent you, you can go through this process knowing
it will get done, without you having to shoulder the burdens of being your own
lawyer. I enjoy some aspects of home repair. But I will not weld
copper pipes, install gas lines, nor do roof work. There are people out
there who know how to do this, are experienced, and will get it done
right. To put it more extremely, would you do dental work on yourself?
The good thing is that I've made this affordable. The total fee I charge of $295 includes the filing fee and all
postage costs (except for international cases). Your spouse, in responding
to my correspondence, will never have to use their own postage, or print out any
forms, or fill
out any outgoing envelopes. Neither you nor your spouse will ever have to
visit a courthouse. You will not have to research the law on
divorce. Except in exceptional, unordinary circumstances, you will never have to correspond with your spouse, nor they with
you. You can know with confidence that your divorce is guaranteed
(full satisfaction or money back), as long as
you know where your spouse resides, and your spouse will consent in a timely
manner to a no fault divorce. You won't ever have to worry about whether
the forms are filled out right, whether you're observing the proper time limits,
or whether the judge is going to accept everything when all is said and
done. In essence, I take care of everything for you, and I do it
right. Why? Because it is my responsibility as your attorney and
legal representative to ensure this most sensitive of legal procedures is done
correctly, efficiently, without worry or hassle to you.
Whether
you've retained me or not, feel free to contact me at your convenience,
regarding your divorce, preferably by email, at bkurlancheek@gmail.com
. You will correspond directly with me, and never to a paralegal or secretary, regarding your
case. I answer most inquiries within 60 minutes, or at most, within 24
hours.
